This is totally true.
I’m so sick of being in love with someone I may never have. It’s been 10 years and I’ve had plenty of opportunities to make it happen but I’ve turned them all down because I got scared. I’m well aware that its completely my fault, and that I do it to myself. I just can’t figure out how to let the past go. But even if I did get another opportunity i would probably turn it down again. I can’t justify my behavior and I have no idea why I do it to myself. I’m a terrible person and I’m not worthy of a healthy relationship. I live in a fantasy world where relationships are supposed to be perfect and everyone lives happily ever after. I can’t accept the fact that real life doesn’t work like that. I wish I could just be happy with myself and appreciate what I have right now.
